Hi, I am a PHP developer based in Bournemouth, Dorset. I have many years experience working within web agencies building web sites, CRM's and document storage services. I also help provide smaller companies with solutions on the web. Currently I am working for a financial services company as a software engineer.

Who

Over the years I have worked on many projects from small companies, SME's and national companies. Below are some of the projects that I have worked on.

McCarthy and Stone

Over several year's I managed McCarthy and Stone's CMS, providing new features and maintenance to an aging web site.
Kier Homes

Kier Homes required a dynamic web site that could be managed via their CRM system using a soap api.
P&O

P&O needed an online image library to provide assets to external agencies.
Exante Diet

I built an online store using Magento to help Exante Diet sell their diet products. The build of the site included several custom modules, one for listing recipes and another for allowing customers to upload testimonials.
Gladedale Homes

Using the Drupal CMS I provided a property site for Gladedale Group.
Cunard

I have built several sites for Cunard, including a micro site for the launch of their new ship The Queen Victoria.
Comet

I have completed several projects for comet, my favourite of which was a social and viral game using Twitter.
Emerge group

I built a secure internal site to manage the client's site details. I also provided an algorithm to format the display of their portfolio.

I have used PHP for many years I would consider myself an advanced user.
MySql

Most projects require some form of data persistance, I have used MySql and MsSql extensively whether this is for a simple CMS or a complex data intensive application.
Magento

Magento is the worlds most popular and powerful ecommerce platform, I have built several modules both frontend and backend and themed sites.
Drupal

I have built many sites with Drupal, custom modules and themes, I also have a wide knowledge on available modules and Drupal best practices.
Facebook

Facebook is the worlds largest social networking site. Every business big or small should be represented on the platform, I have built several Facebook applications for various clients.
Wordpress

Wordpress the worlds most popular blogging platform. A simple yet powerful platform, which is highly customizable for building small to medium web sites.
MVC Frameworks

PHP is a great scripting language, however sometimes you need a leg up with a framework, I have experience using Zend, Codeigniter and Cake.
Twitter

Twitter is the social platform to get your message to the masses, I have used the Twitter API to leverage it's power.
