I realised that I had taken no time off from work this year, so I decided I should treat my self to a week of absolutely nothing. Here is my cycle route for today, in the glorious sunshine.

I have a nice fixed gear bike, although today I cheated by flipping the hub over for some free wheel action, so I could enjoy some pedalling free down hill sections.

This route took me about 2 hours with some stops here and there, spent a while taking photos of some pygmy horses.

 

As a developer I am always keen to learn new things and have been delving into the world of Symfony, it always seems like there are not enough hours in the day to do extra work, but now I am on holiday I just dont feel as motorvated, when the sun is shining better than it has all summer.

 

I have just taken a few baby steps followed a tutorial and really liked the power and ease of getting things started. I would like to give Cake a go to before I decide on which path to stick to. I will keep you posted to let you know which framework I prefer.
